Following the declaration of President Hosni Mubarak to implement tougher security measures in all tourist areas in Egypt to secure the safety of the tourists visiting Egypt, the Egyptian Cabinet adopted the following:

• Cancellation of fees on services in all Egyptian seaports and airports
• Cancellation of Entry Visa fees to Egypt for a 3-month period
• Discount of 50% on all EgyptAir domestic flights for a 3-month period for all tourists and Egyptians
• These resolutions are effective as of December 1, 1997
