| Water buffalo may be used to drive the large
water wheels that pump water from irrigation
canals into the fields. Egypt relies on the
River Nile to farm land in the Nile valley. The
buffalos are blindfolded to prevent them from
getting dizzy while walking in a circle for
hours. |
