Description:
| Nefertari, 'Great Bride of the King'
Ramesses II, was buried in the richest and most
fascinating tomb of the Valley of the Queens. It
was discovered in 1904 by Ernesto Schiaparelli,
then director of the Egyptian Museum in Turin.
The splendor of Nefertari's tomb has no equal
among those of the other queens of the era. In
this view, the antechamber and part of the first
annex can be seen. |
