Notwithstanding the aggressive and perilous name
- bay of sharks - it is difficult to imagine a
place so rich in peace and tranquil beauty as
this is. Here the sea comes to lap gently
against the stony beach of this small bay
protected by rocky dunes: the reef begins here,
at a few swimming strokes from the shore, and it
is immediately an immersion in an unreal,
imaginative world populated by creatures which
seem born more of the fantasy of an abstract or
psychodaelic painting than of a severe and
exacting nature. It seems that man has always
been afraid to touch this corner of paradise. |
