A monk from the Monastery of the Holy Virgin, near Durunka in Middle Egypt, lights a candle at the entrance of the cave where apparitions of Saint Mary are said to have appeared in recent years. This cave is one of the traditionally identified places in which the Holy Family took shelter while traveling in Egypt.
