"Agatha Christie and the Orient"

How the Near East and archaeology influenced the works of  Agatha Christie. The meeting of egyptologists and a voyage to Egypt inspired her to write a play "Akhnaton" and a crime thriller playing in the second millenium BC. Several  stories were based on the similarity of the works  of archaeologists and detectives.
