Tour Egypt Contests

We have extended the deadline for these contests until January 31st, 2000 in order to allow people with travel logs of the millennium celebrations to enter.

(1) Best Travel Log Contest

If you have been to Egypt, we invite you to submit your travel log, along with pictures of your trip. Grand prize is an 18 karat gold Cobra Ring, which is an exacting museum replica produced by JLR Jewelry. See the ring. . All entries which are published on Tour Egypt will also receive a papyrus artwork. Submission deadline is December 31st, 1999

(2) Best Antiquities Essay

For this contest, we are looking for essays on any aspect of ancient Egypt. Pictures or drawings will enhance the entrant's chances of winning. Again, the grand prize is an 18 karat gold Cobra Ring as above, and all entries which are published will receive a papyrus artwork. Submission deadline is December 31st, 1999

(3) Professional Travel Article

For tour or travel agencies only. Submit an article on Egyptian travel to Tour Egypt. The article should not contain commercial content. Pictures will add to the acceptability of the article. Grand prizewinner will receive three months of banner exposure on two of Tour Egypt's major section headings. All articles which are published will provide credit to the tour or travel agency, along with a link to the company's web site. Submission deadline is December 31st, 1999
