Twenty-five faience vases, all except one blue in
color, were found in a badly damaged box. This
vessel was one of them. It belongs to a type called
nemset, which is often shown in ritual scenes placed
on a stand or an altar. The spouts vary in shape;
this one may be a copy of an original in copper.
When used for pouring out libations, the lid was
removed.
