Egypt’s Minister of Tourism
Upgrades & Expansions in Luxor Airport

  • A $35 Million budget was allocated by the Civil Aviation Authority to upgrade and expand Luxor Airport.
  • The plan involves addition of a new terminal and expansion of the main building to accommodate 4,000 passengers/hour, an expected number of tourists over the coming 15 years.
  • Another $145 Million budget was also allocated to add 30 new tarmacs in Luxor, Hurghada & Sharm El Sheik.
