| Press Release Egypt’s Minister of Tourism Egypt Update February 26, 1998 Electronic Fences in Upper Egypt Archaeological sites in Luxor, Aswan, Esna, Edfu and Dendera will be electronically fenced as of next month. The new electronic system will be installed to provide maximum security and to serve as a precautionary safety measure in these sites.
