| Press Release Egypt’s Minister of Tourism New Arrival and Departure Facilities for Tourists and Investors April 29, 1997 New procedures for arrival and departure of both Tourists and Investors have been announced by the Passport and Immigration Authorities, and are already in effect. The services include handling entry and exit procedures for tourists through their Travel Agent representatives in Egypt by stamping the tourists arrival cards instead of their passports to avoid bottlenecks at airports. Another department will be established to serve investors' needs, and extend foreigners' residence in Egypt to five years instead of only three. |
