Moudira means lady boss and with Kim away at ACE I am in charge. I have the keys and it is up to me to make sure everything in the diary happens. I also have to phone 2 of the staff and make sure they are awake.

I learnt how to take a tempreture today and tomorrow we are doing an operation we think. Gigi this super vet can do it and show the arabic vets but we have to get the owner to agree. It is so exciting.

I have a great big long list of books I need to get, how on earth we will get them out to Egypt will be a challenge

It is so cool, this really clever vet Gigi is at Ace and she has been showing me lots of things. She said I should train to be a nurse and I told her that was exactly what I was going to do as soon as I was 16. So she has been teaching me things vets need their nurses to do. I also got a book list and there is loads to read

That is it for this year, my last exam was 27th May and no more school until September. I have started my holiday job at ACE again. There was this lovely tabby in for rehoming and i persuaded mum to that we should have it. So we have 2 cats now

My exams have started, i nearly missed the French one as we went to Hurghada and got back late so mum said i didin’t have to go to school. then we got this phone call saying it was an exam. No one had told me and I hadn’t revised for it. It was French. The next one is english and computers.

Still once it is all over I’m going to Japan on holiday.

We just had a holiday and I did some riding. It is getting hot now so I have been using my swimming pool. It is great to dive it with all your clothes when you come back hot from a horse ride

For my mum’s birthday Mahmoud arranged for a cruise on a sandal, a big felucca or small dahabeyya. We took Michael who lives in one of our flats. My mum and Michael were raving about this temple at Gebel Silsila and I learnt to play chess. Michael also showed me the stars and birds. We had loads of food and it was really great, you felt like you had been away 2 weeks instead of 2 days

I really made my mum’s birthday by being car sick all over here on the journey to the boat. On the way back they made me sit with a towel, a carrier bag and the wind wide open but I wasn’t sick that time.

My little relative died today. She was 5. My mum is married to Mahmoud and this was his sisters little girl. So I guess she was my step cousin. She was so sweet. Once she managed to get through the fields all by hersef and visit us. She fell from a wall and grabed an electricity cable on the way down and electrocuted herself and then she smahsed on the ground. Her mum who is my best Egyptian friend is mad, angry and crying. Today she is in paradise

hi ya every one sorry i haven’t spoken to y’all in awhile but i have some bad news i am going to have to sell habiba i realised that i am not responsible enough to look after a horse so all of you that wished had horse think long and hard about it because it’s not fair on the animal if your not there all the time and she will forget u completely so i am very sad to lose her but i know that the man i am going to sell her too is very good he looks after his horses very well and he said to me that i could riding on her every day if i wanted to. so now i gots to go
