took a tour of Egypt and found the Suez Canal wasnt included,so my friend and I hired a mini bus, associated with the tour company to take us to Suez then came back to Cairo via Port Said.
The guy was very good and we were able to see much more than on an official tour.
However, going to the Canal was a bonus and if one can arrange reputable transport as we did it is thoroughly recommended.
It cost us about $250 US a day(3 days)—the minibus ,driver,accomodation,food

I kinda need some extra credit for my Social Studies class, as I too, am a seventh grader. My teacher said that if I could find out what they did with the leftover earth from creating the Suez Canal, then she would give me credit. Anybody?
