Great article and photos! I was recently in Egypt, researching The Holy Family Trail for the next novel in my series (see Website). Tradition is that they entered Egypt at Pelusium, but I did not get that far north, only to Tel Basta, where they spent the night, or rather, were ill-received. Your material helped immensely in helping me reconstuct 5th c. A.D. Pelusium.
