   1 In the last paragraph of “Sat Oct 24th” you state ” While the Australians were fighting the 15th Panzers, the Highlanders, on theit left were fighting the first tank versus infantry battle at el Alamein.” Does this mean the Australians fought no tanks from the 15th Panzers? Perrhaps they might merit an equal first in infantry versus tanks at el Alamein?
   2 In the last paragraph of “D+2 25th Oct” you mention “the British took the position and 240 prisoners” - was this the Australian 9th division by any chance?
   3 Did Lt Gen Sir Leslie Morshead play any role in the battle. You mention Freyberg, who lost Crete, but not Morshead who was the victor of Tobruk!
   4 What proportion of the casualties were the 9th Divisions?
   5Was Rommelobliged to move German elements up to meet the threat from the 9th Division’s mighty crumbling?
   6 Was the 9th Division up against any tanks?
