    i,never thought of fishing in the nile,but for someone whos hobby it was i,m sure it would be lovely.so restfull stairing in to the beautfull nile.myselph, i,would take my cross stitch and sit there,in the sunshine,heaven. mary.b.crowther.

    Nice article. Have you found any other information since? I’m particularly interested in fish types (are there large sports fish such as carp, catfish, pike or perch), whether they could be caught using static baits such as boilies or lures? Anything would be helpful.

    I planing to visit my home egypt this may. looking forward to fish in the nile, never did that while growing up there. now that i loved the fishing hobby in australia i will never miss the chance to fish back home for the month iam staying in cairo visiting my parents and friends.
    this article helped me a lot at least i know now where to fish!
