Amunemhet was the son of Amenhotep I and Queen Ahhotep II. He died at about the age of 1 or 2 and his body was found in the cliffs of Deir el-Bahri. His body had been rewrapped and reburied by the priests of the 20th Dynasty when they found his tomb robbed.
