Thuity was an
18th Dynasty
official serving in the reign of
Hatshepsut
(1473-1458 B.C.) and possibly in the reign of her father
Tuthmosis I.
An hereditary nobleman, Thuity succeeded the famous
architect
Ineni in service to the
crown. He also held other court titles and ranks in the
temple of the god Amon. He led an expedition to Punt for
Hatshepsut and was involved in her many building
projects. Thuity was buried on the western shore of
Thebes.
